1. Who we are
PrimeClosers is a brand of Orbit Marketing Ltd(registered in England and Wales, CRN 15580448). We are the data controller for personal information processed through the PrimeClosers platform. Contact: chris@primeclosers.co.uk.
2. What data we collect
We collect: (a) account data — name, email, password hash, role (closer/recruiter); (b) profile data — experience, industries, ticket sizes, location, role preferences, CVs and bio; (c) transactional data — subscription status and billing identifiers (no card numbers); (d) communications between users inside the platform; (e) technical data such as IP address, browser, device and usage logs.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the platform, match closers with recruiters, process payments, communicate service updates, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal obligations, and improve the product. Our lawful bases are: contract performance, legitimate interests (running and improving the service), consent (where given for marketing), and legal obligation.
4. Third-party processors
We share data with carefully selected processors only as needed to deliver the service: Stripe (payments and subscription management), Supabase (database, authentication and storage hosting), email delivery providers, and analytics tools. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement and processes data on our instructions.
5. How long we keep data
Account data is retained while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for legal, accounting and dispute-resolution purposes. Transactional records are retained for at least 6 years to comply with UK tax law. You can request earlier deletion subject to legal retention.
6. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights email chris@primeclosers.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and limited analytics cookies to understand aggregate platform usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will affect your ability to sign in.
8. International transfers
Some of our processors operate outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on UK-approved transfer mechanisms (such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
