High-ticket closer salary and commission in the UK
High-ticket closing income is a function of three numbers: average order value, commission percentage and closed deals per month. This guide sets out realistic UK ranges rather than screenshot figures.

The maths behind the income
Monthly earnings equal average order value multiplied by your commission percentage, multiplied by deals closed. A closer on a £6,000 offer at 12% earns £720 per deal; eight deals is £5,760 for the month.
Everything else — lead quality, call volume, offer strength — feeds one of those three variables. When you assess a role, assess those, not the OTE headline.
Typical UK commission rates
Rates cluster by how much of the pipeline the closer creates. Where the business supplies booked, warm appointments, 8-12% of cash collected is common. Where the closer self-generates or works colder leads, 15-20% is normal.
- £2k-£5k offers: 10-15% of cash collected
- £5k-£15k offers: 8-12% of cash collected
- £15k+ offers: 5-10%, often with a base or retainer
- Setter roles: £40-£120 per held appointment, or a smaller closing share
Commission-only vs base plus commission
Commission-only pays more per deal and carries all the risk. It is only sensible where lead flow is proven. A base or retainer reduces per-deal upside but protects you while a new offer settles. Neither is inherently better — judge the specific pipeline.
Why verified earnings matter
Sales income claims are unverifiable almost everywhere, which is why employers discount them. Payments settled through PrimeClosers build a Verified Earnings record attached to your profile — an audited history of what you have actually been paid, which is the single strongest asset in a competitive application.
Questions people ask
- How much do high-ticket closers make in the UK?
- Realistically, £3,000-£8,000 a month for a competent closer on a proven offer with steady lead flow, and £10,000+ for top performers on larger tickets. Beginners on unproven offers frequently earn far less.
- Is commission-only worth it?
- Only where the offer is proven and appointments are supplied. Ask for close rate, average ticket and monthly appointment volume before accepting any commission-only role.
- Do closers get paid on contract signed or cash collected?
- Cash collected is the UK norm for high-ticket, with clawback if a client refunds inside the guarantee window.
